EuroKids, Kalyani Nagar is one of the three EuroKids branches in Pune managed by Kamal Shahaney. Started in 2011, EuroKids, Kalyani Nagar is part of the franchise chain of preschools owned by EuroKids International Ltd which was formerly known as Egmont Imagination (India) Ltd. EuroKids boasts more than 884 preschools in 311 towns and cities across India.
The preschool campus is comprised of colorful and vibrant classrooms that house a library section and a music space. The preschool also hosts a euro gym, a reception area, an outdoor play area with swings, slides, sand pit and a splash pool.
The playgroup program for children in the age group of 1.8 to 2.5 years introduces children to stimulating activities and group interaction, besides encouraging their curiosity. The preschool curriculum is thematic with the monthly themes based on real-world sensory experiences and a major part of the day is spent singing, dancing, laughing, playing and exploring.
The nursery program for children in the age group of 2.5 to 3.5 years trains them in skills such as pre-reading, pre-writing, pre-math, science and social skills. The curriculum for this program also includes monthly themes, weekly topics and daily activities that encourage curiosity, self-initiative and persistence. The daily activities include art, music, dramatic play and social interaction.
The Euro Junior program encourages and motivates children to realize their inner potential and observe the environment around them. Emphasis is also laid on language development, building confidence, verbal expression of their thoughts, feelings and impressions of the world around them. The Euro Senior program focuses on strengthening vocabulary and applying the concepts learnt in Euro Junior. Children are encouraged to read and write using innovative learning methods.
The program aims to enhance the attention span of the children and accelerate their learning process and prepares them for formal education.
Admissions for Playgroup are open throughout the year; however admissions to Nursery, Euro Junior & Euro Senior close by August 31 each year.
