Foreign scholarship scheme for underprivileged students

The last date for submitting applications under the Foreign Education Scholarship Scheme for students belonging to the Scheduled Castes and Nomadic Tribes (SJSTs), Other Backward Classes (OBCs) and Special Backward Classes (SBCs) has been extended to June 6, 2025 according to a statement from Other Backward Classes Welfare Minister Atul Save.
 
The  scholarships are granted annually to 75 students admitted to undergraduate, postgraduate and Ph.D. courses for the academic year 2025-26 in foreign institutions ranked in the QS World University Rankings.

Students should submit two copies of the completed application along with the required documents by June 6,  2025 before 06.15 pm in person or by post to the Directorate of Other Backward Bahujan Welfare , Aakar Premises , 2nd Floor , M. H. B. Colony , MHADA Commercial Complex Samatanagar , Yerawada Pune-411006.
