GD Birla Memorial School for Boys was promoted by BK Birla and Dr. Sarala Birla in 1987 in memory of the eminent industrialist Ghanshyam Das Birla. It is an English-medium residential school situated in Ranikhet, Uttarakhand. Affiliated to the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), New Delhi, the school offers education to over 700 students from grades IV through XII.
