On 14 April, 2019, Students of Gyan Ganga International School celebrated ‘ATL Community Day’ which was organised by the members of Science Club of school. The ATL Community Day initiative is an effort to spread awareness as well as engage the local communities in the neighbourhood of an Atal Tinkering Lab, to come and experience the exciting new world of science and future. The aim to conduct this activity was to initiate the extending innovation, new ideas, new thoughts; new solution emerged in young minds. This activity provided an innovative promotion to students to become problem solver.
Students got an opportunity to experience innovation in school. The following activities were arranged by the Science club Balloon Train DIY Salt Battery ,Soldiering Champions ,Paper circuit ,Balloon car, Introducing to 3D Printing ,Newspaper Bridge etc. Students of class VI to X were integral part of this activity. They had explored their new ideas with each other.
Students were very excited and they expressed their interest for making their models. Students completed their model within 30 minutes. It made them believe that they can be innovator too. Their facial expression displayed more smiles when they completed their models.
The gracious presence of School Principal Dr. Rajesh Kumar Chandel, Parents, Staff members was laudable .He also appreciated the efforts of members of teachers and students for the grand success of the programme. At the end of the programme students were awarded with prizes.
