GGIS crossed another milestone

On 4thDec 2018 Tuesday Gyan Ganga International School added a new page in its history by achieving the prestigious award through British Council- the Award of International School 2018. This glorious award was received by the school Principal Dr. Rajesh Chandel in Bangalore at Hotel Taj on Tuesday.

This project was taken by the School Principal keeping in view the outstanding development of the students on international dimensions as well as holistic development of each child.  The team leaders Mrs. Anshu Singh, Mrs Preety M Dixit, Mrs. Neelu Sharma   Ms. Savita Charkavarty, Mr Alok Beohar, Mrs Jaspreet Rehki and Mrs. Ninu Kund along with 400 students of seven different  projects namely Agriculture, Traditional Jewellery, Traditional Dresses, Waste Management, Potable Water, Festivals & Social Status of Women  worked for one long year and enhanced the knowledge and understanding of these students on various topics and took the learning & teaching process not only out of the four walls of classroom but to the different parts of the world.

There were many sessions conducted through Seminars, Skype, Workshops, Excursions, visit to different universities, factories, hospitals, workplaces, shops, museum etc. which not only developed the critical thinking of the students but also helped them to work in collaboration & developed true team spirit not only among themselves but with the students across the globe. Schools of Srilanka, Nepal, Switzerland were chosen as the partner Schools who collaboratively worked with the students of GGIS for the comparative studies of different topics.  

Speaking on the occasion School Principal Dr. Rajesh Kumar Chandel expressed his heartfelt thanks to the Management of GGIS who provided this colossal platform to the students and an opportunity for their development on the international dimensions. He also applauded for the students who were involved in these projects and appreciated the hard work done by the various in charges of all seven projects. He congratulated the ISA coordinator Mrs. Kamal Ambwani on this grand success and wished the entire team good luck for upcoming projects in future.
