November 16, 2019

Keeping with its tradition of continual achievements and laurels, Greenwood High (GWH) International School, Sarjapur (Bangalore) has won the ‘Architectural Design of the Year’ award at Construction Week India Awards 2019 recently. The award was given to Bangalore based Ace Group Architects for Greenwood High under the institutional category for its sustainability, cohesion with the surrounding landscape environment and it’s aesthetically designed facade. Over 600 entries were registered this year for the awards, which were judged by an eminent jury of industry peers, a factor which has given the Construction Week India Awards an independent and credible reputation.

The school campus also complies with the Green Building Standards of the Indian Green Building Council (IGBC) and is the first school in India to receive the 18001:2007 certification – a global safety standard for occupational health and safety management systems.

Commenting on the achievement, Niru Agarwal, trustee, Greenwood High, said, “Continuously striving for success, Greenwood High has won various prestigious awards. We cherish this honour to bag this highly valued and prestigious award and will continue supporting our students in creating such path-breaking moments. It is a testimony to our environment-friendly construction and the fine architectural design of our school.”
