Greenwood High believes that a sound liberal education is a participative process, in which the child is a key participant. In keeping with the spirit of this principle, the admission process includes an interaction with the child in combination with a written exercise so as to help facilitate a better understanding of the child’s readiness for the class applied for. The school principal meets the parents with the child and upon his approval, parents can proceed with the admission.
Eligibility criteria:
Nursery: Student’s age should be atleast 2 years & 10 months
Grade 1: Pass in either Kindergarten or equivalent levels in Montessori
All other grades: Previous grade pass marks cards.

1. At the CISCE School Sports & Games 2023 – Karnataka Region, Shreya Talwar of Grade IX won Gold in karate (Under 17 Girls category) and qualified for the CISCE National Tournament.
2. At the CISCE School Sports & Games 2023 – Karnataka Region, Shashreek Mitra of Grade VI won Silver (Under 14 Boys – 177 Air Pistol 10 Mts) while Mahaniya Venkatesh of Grade VIII won Bronze (Under 14 – 177 Air Pistol 10 mts). Both qualified for the CISCE National Tournament held in September 2023.
3. At the CISCE School Sports & Games 2023 – Karnataka Region, Stuthi, Ishta, Shraddha and Dia won Silver in Swimming (Under 14 Girls in 4X100mts Medley Relay) while Arav Krishna of Grade X bagged Bronze (Under 17 Boys 50 Meter Freestyle) and qualified for CISCE Nationals.
4. At the CISCE National Tournament 2023, Shreya Talwar of Grade IX won Gold in Karate (52-56 kg Under 17 Girls category) and qualified for SGFI hosted in November 2023 at Delhi.
5. Samay S Rao of Grade VIII bagged Silver in badminton at the CISCE National Tournament 2023.
6. Lakshya Sinha of Grade VI participated in the ICode Global Hackathon 2023 – the World’s Largest Coding Competition for Kids which saw participation from 4,580 , schools across the globe. He stood #32 out of 8,000 participants at the national level and #108 at the global round.
7. Mayra Sharma (Grade VII) participated in the International Dance Fest IIGF held in Colombo, Srilanka. Mayra’s dance group “Astitva” stood third in the freestyle category at the event which saw participation from over 500 participants.
8. Vigya Gupta won Bronze medal at National Aerobics Championship held between 22nd – 24th March, 2024 at M.A stadium Jammu & Kashmir.
9. Pravit Agarwal of Grade 4 – ICSE – Sarjapur campus secured 1st rank in the SOF International Mathematics Olympiad.
10. Darsh Kokrady of grade 8 has stood Overall 2nd in Men Artistic Gymnastics (MAG- Under14) at CISCE State Level Gymnastics with 2 Gold Medals (in Floor & Rings) & 1 Silver Medal (in Parallel Bar).
11. Suradeep Bhatt, the student of Grade 8, represented Karnataka state and has won the Bronze medal in the ICSE state championship for archery.
12. Aviraj Dewan from Class 1-H has made us proud by winning two medals at the VIFA Cup National Taekwondo Championship held on January 25th & 26th, 2025! Competing in the Under-8 category, he clinched a gold medal in KYORUGI and a silver medal in POOMSAE.
Being a day school, Greenwood High, Bannerghatta does not provide accommodation/hostel facility.
