iBambini Preschool, Sector 56, Gurgaon was founded in 2003 by Shakun Chaudhary and Ruchira Varma with a commitment towards quality education. iBambini – an Italian word for children is nestled in over an acre of greenery and is the first school in India to introduce the Reggio Emilia approach. The mission of iBambini is to enhance a child’s power of thinking through the synthesis of all the expressive, communicative and cognitive languages.

The school has been conferred the ‘Best Pre-School, Gurgaon – Award’ by The Times Research.

Campus

iBambini campus sprawls over an acre of landscaped greenery hosting air conditioned colourful classrooms, an amphitheatre, resource room, discovery room, an audio visual section and a music space. The outdoor area has a splash pool, play area with slides, swings, tunnels, balancing beam and a sand pit along with a tree house, huge tunnels and jungle gym. The school is equipped with 100 percent power back-up.

Academics

The preschool follows Reggio Emilia inspired curriculum based on the emergent curriculum principles of the world-renowned schools for young children in Reggio Emilia, Italy. According to the preschool, its learning program starts as with the staff asking questions and listening to children, collaborating with them and documenting their work, the classroom environment allows for open-ended learning and discovery and that children are given a chance to express themselves and understand the world around.

The preschool program is designed to develop in children thinking skills to become reflective thinkers, social skills to become caring and open minded, research skills to gain knowledge and become independent and communication skills to use and share their knowledge. Literacy, math, science, music, arts and general awareness are all emphasized through a framework of hands-on experiences.

Admission

The number of seats per class is limited and is filled on first come first serve basis. However, depending upon the availability of seats, admissions to all classes can also take place during the academic session. When all seats are filled, subsequent parents’ names are entered in the waiting list and they are notified when a vacancy occurs.

Parents can visit the preschool from Monday to Friday between 10.00 am and 1.00 pm and on Saturdays from 10.00 am to 1.00 pm with prior appointment and meet the concerned person regarding admissions. Registration forms are available at the preschool front office on all working days and Saturdays.
