India Post Recruitment 2019 recently invited applications for the positions for Gramin Dak Sevak (GDS) Posts. The vacancies are available in Assam, Bihar, Gujarat, Karnataka, Kerala and Punjab post circle. Eligible candidates can apply online at their official website: www.appost.in up to 4th September, 2019. The age limit for the position is 18 to 40 years.

The job description of Gramin Dak Sevak includes sale of stamps and stationery, delivery of mails, the work of Indian Post Payments Bank (IPPB) and any other duties assigned by Postmaster.

Eligibility criteria for the India Post Recruitment 2019:

The candidate must have a pass certificate of Secondary School Examination of 10th standard with passing marks in Mathematics and English (having been studied as compulsory or elective subjects).  The pass certificate must be from any recognized Board of School Education by the Government of India/State Governments/ Union Territories in India. 

The candidate should also have adequate knowledge of the local language, in whichever state he is applying. 

Pay Scale for the India Post Recruitment 2019:

For Branch Post Master (BPM), the minimum TRCA for 4 Hours/Level 1 in TRCA slab starts at Rs.12,000/- up to Rs.14,500/-

Meanwhile, for Assistant Branch Post Master (ABPM/Dak Sevak), the minimum TRCA for 5 hours/Level 2 in TRCA slab is from Rs.10,000/- to Rs.12,000/-

The salary structure is subject to increase.
