“We are delighted that SRIHER is ranked India’s #1 private medical university for the fourth consecutive year. This is an acknowledgement of our commitment to excellence in medical and health sciences education and research. Over the past 40 years, SRIHER has evolved into a multidisciplinary deemed-to-be university with 15 distinct faculties, offering 37 undergraduate, 123 postgraduate programmes, and doctoral degrees. Thus far, over 1.2 million patients have availed our medical and health services, with our team having organised 1,067 medical camps and outreach programs.
Therefore, your survey respondents have rightly awarded us top scores on nine of the ten parameters of higher education excellence. I am especially pleased with our top score for research and innovation as this is a special focus area for SRIHER. Recently, we crossed an important milestone of 11,000 research publications and 1.25 lakh citations. Moreover, our faculty has been awarded 58 research projects valued at Rs.54 crore and received 22 patents. I’m also pleased with our top score for internationalism.
