Inventure Academy is a co-educational day school affiliated with the Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE) for ICSE and ISC and the Cambridge International Assessment Education (CAIE) for CIPP, IGCSE and A/AS levels. Established in 2005, the school is located on Whitefield-Sarjapur Road and ranked among the top 10 co-ed day schools in India and third in Bangalore and Karnataka by the Education World India School Rankings. Inventure Academy’s unique curriculum equips children with 21st Century life skills and is focused on their holistic development, with the expectation that each child will flourish in academics, athletics, and other co-curricular spheres. Inventure Academy offers Pre-K-12 curriculum, based on guidelines from IGCSE, A/AS Levels from CAIE and CISCE.
The Inventure Academy campus and infrastructure are designed to embrace their warm and inclusive culture and further their philosophy of ensuring students’ holistic well-being. The campus, regarded as one of the best in India, is spread across 37 acres of generous, green spaces. It is open and welcoming, with indoor and outdoor spaces flowing into each other, infused with a spirit of family and belonging. Children’s artworks, poems, butterfly gardens and student council campaigns line common spaces like corridors, lobbies and walls, their imaginations celebrated and their talents showcased for everyone to admire.
The primary, middle and high school blocks each have an atrium where children learn, draw, paint and invent in naturally lit, airy classroom clusters which open into the atria. There are small performance spaces in each courtyard. The preschool block with Pre-K to K2 stands separate, yet nearby, with its own lawns, sandpit and exclusive play area.
Academic facilities include a well-stocked library with comprehensive print and online resources; lab facilities include biology, chemistry, physics and mathematics laboratories, four computer/robotics labs.
A multipurpose 40,000 square feet space with amphitheatre seating, green rooms and backstage areas known as the hub hosts annual musical productions, the round square youth parliament, Makkala Habba and the graduation and moving up ceremonies. The Hub is also home to two new basketball courts, maker space and design & tech studio and custom-built spaces for art, music and dance.
Other co-curricular facilities include an art studio, maker space, design & tech studio, music and dance studios and a cafeteria.
Sports facilities include a soccer field with artificial turf, a 25-metre swimming pool with attached changing rooms (also has a toddlers’ pool), five clay and hard tennis courts, cricket nets and practice pitched, a gym, an athletics field with a cricket pitch, a basketball court and a yoga gazebo.
Inventure Academy follows the curriculum of the Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE), New Delhi and Cambridge International Assessment Examinations (CAIE), United Kingdom.
In primary school, the curricular framework leverages theme-based thinking and sensorial learning. At this level, students are offered an integrated curriculum based on NCERT (National Council of Education Research and Training) and the Cambridge International Primary Programme (CIPP) guidelines.
A blended curriculum of CISCE and CAIE is offered till grade 7 after which students choose examination boards of their choice. Grade 8 is a transitional year that helps students build board-specific skills. For the middle school, the program is focused on an experiential, enquiry-based approach where the guidelines are provided by the ICSE & IGCSE Curriculum.
Secondary and senior secondary school students are educated in tune with the syllabus for ICSE, IGCSE, ISC and A/AS level board examinations.
The curriculum of the school fosters new ways of thinking, considering and developing ideas. The curriculum is highly experiential, contextual, activity-oriented, and based on multidisciplinary teaching approaches.
Extracurriculars: Inventure Academy’s co-curricular activities range from sports to creative arts, to field trips and outbound trips, community outreach programs, and annual literary competitions, known as “Tournaments of Minds”. The school also encourages its students to participate in a wide range of unique initiatives such as “Changemaker” and “Makerspace”.

SportsThe Inventure Academy Admission Process is simple and transparent. It works on the belief that a personal interaction between parents/authorized guardians, the prospective student and the school’s authorized representatives is of far greater value than any conventional admission test. The process is aimed at giving the faculty an insight into the type of education approach and environment parents believe would be appropriate for their child to maximize his/her potential, while giving a glimpse of the child’s strengths, learning needs and potential. It also provides the parents/authorized guardians a first-hand opportunity to obtain an understanding of how students and faculty engage with each other at the academy, their overall offering, curricula and educational approach.
The admission process begins in September of the previous calendar year. Admissions are granted on a first come first served basis for seats that are available.
Admission enquiries may be made by filling the enquiry form or directly contacting the admission centre. Once the school receives the inquiry, a member of the school’s community relations management (CRM) team will call/email the parents to take their enquiry forward. Parents and students based in Bangalore may visit the school by an appointment for a tour of the spacious, green, child friendly, safe campus, and an interaction with the CRM team.
Inventure Academy is one of the three select schools in Bangalore to be part of Round Square, a not-for-profit network of schools in 40 countries across five continents, that share a passion for experiential learning built around six ideals of learning: democracy, environmentalism, adventure, leadership, and service.
Inventure School was ranked number one in Karnataka and Bangalore and number three in India in the Education World C Fore Survey 2020 (co-ed day schools’ category).
