ITAP to launch its professional courses in Bangalore

The Institute of Taxation & Accounting Professionals (iTAP) – a Pune-based financial and technical training institute – is set to expand its footprint in Bangalore with a new customised course structure aimed at empowering prospective accounting executives in Karnataka.

The PBA (professional business accountant) course has been designed based on the guidelines provided by top chartered accountants, businessmen and accounting professionals and includes practical training in e-commerce, e-banking, e-tax returns and e-tax payments among others.

With a 100 percent student placement record, ITAP is launching its first course in Karnataka at its new centre in Bangalore starting September 1, 2019.

“The admissions are now open. We are targeting commerce students from Tier-II and Tier-III cities and towns for whom the course provides a kick start to their professional life,” says CA Pankaj Mandhane, co-founder of ITAP.

Unlike a regular accountancy course, PBA covers taxes (Income Tax, TDS, GST & PT) along with finance (finance management, cash flow, business loans, financial reporting and MIS) and banking, PF, ESI, import-export and Shops Act, making the students industry-ready.

“There is a huge requirement for skilled workforce in the country today as 90 per cent of jobs in India are skill-based, whereas only 6 per cent of job seekers are skill-trained,” adds Mandhane.

ITAP is introducing the PBA course in Bangalore which can be completed in a year’s time. The course is open to first, second and final year BCom students, MCom and MBA students, graduates from other streams and working professionals.

“While on the one hand we witness unemployment, the industry is actually in need of about 30,000 to 35,000 PBAs every year,” he says, adding that ITAP has an extraordinary placement record, especially where students get guaranteed job placement within 90 days of joining the course as a trainee.

Students have the option to pay one-third of the fee at the time of joining and the remaining after placement. To register for the course, dial 9945031000/ 9945034000.

Promoted in 2008 by Pankaj Mandhane, a chartered accountant and Kishen Gupta, a moral and social education trainer, ITAP is a financial and technical training institute headquartered in Pune. To learn more, visit http://www.itapedu.com/.
