Jharkhand Chief Minister Hemant Soren on Sunday requested the Union Human Resource Development (HRD) Ministry to issue a directive to ensure no hostels get closed in the educational institutions as travel is not possible due to coronavirus outbreak.
Some of the students hailing from Jharkhand are studying in Jamia Millia Islamia University in the national capital wrote to the Jharkhand Chief Minister requesting assistance. This was after the university administration ordered the closure of hostels due to Covid-19.
