Overview

Kamala Niketan, Trichy is a coeducational day school which started with the foundation of “Tiny Tots” in 1991 with only 30 students. With the committed support of the faculty and the parents, Kamala Niketan has developed into one of the premier schools in Trichy today.

Campus

Kamala Niketan is located in the heart of the city on a sprawling 6.5 acre campus. The school hosts spacious digital classrooms, well-equipped science laboratories, a well-stocked library, three computer labs and a large playground.

Academics

Kamala Niketan is an English medium school affiliated with the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), New Delhi and offers education from Montessori to class XII. The school offers a unique educational experience for children from pre-primary to class III through the Montessori methodology. X-Seed curriculum is followed for classes UKG to VII. X-Seed is a complete teaching, learning system that ensures every student learns each concept through the 5 step learning process: Aim, Action, Analysis, Application and Assessment.

The school follows the Comprehensive and Continuous Evaluation (CCE) system of assessment, ensuring intellectual, emotional, physical, cultural and social development of the child.

An integrated curriculum is adopted in senior secondary classes with a vision to provide an ideal platform for serious JEE aspirants and scholars. This is a study program with a synergistic approach to both the school studies as well as IIT – JEE, AIEEE and other scholastic exams such as Olympiads, KVPY, NTSE, SAT etc.

Admission

Application forms for admission are issued in the third week of January every year.

The registration form can be downloaded from the school website, filled in and submitted at the school office, following which the application form needs to be obtained from the office and submitted with the documents required in two days.
