Kundan Vidya Mandir Senior Secondary School, Ludhiana is a coeducational day school affiliated with the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), New Delhi. Established in 1941, Kundan Vidya Mandir is named after its founder Late Shri Rai Sahib Kundan Lal Ji. The school takes pride in being the first school in Punjab to get affiliated with CBSE in 1963. The school boasts 350 staff members and over 5000 students from kindergarten through class XII. Kundan Vidya Mandir Senior Secondary School, Ludhiana is managed by the Shri Kundan Lal Trust in Chandigarh.
The 7 acre school campus hosts 112 class rooms, a well stocked library, labs for physics, chemistry and biology, a conference hall, music rooms and dance rooms. The school also hosts an activity room, art room, computer lab, math lab, language lab, canteen and infirmary.
The sports facilities include two splash pools, skating rink, shooting range, football ground, volleyball court and a playground that measures 3937 square metres.

SportsThe age eligibility for LKG is 3.3 years to 4.3 years as on March 31 of the year in which admission is sought. Selection process includes an interaction of the child and his/her parents with the admission committee.
The dates for registration and interaction of the candidates can be changed as per the convenience of the school authorities. Fee and other charges once deposited will not be refunded.
Admission to class XI is based on marks obtained in class X board examinations. Choice and allotment of the stream will depend upon the percentage attained by the student in the exam. Cut off percentage for admission to different streams may vary from year to year.
Admission to other classes is subject to the availability of seats and admission is granted after the candidate qualifies the written test.
