Overview

Founded in 1942, Laxminarayan Institute of Technology, Nagpur is a premier Government aided institute of higher education in the field of chemical engineering and technology. The college is affiliated with the Nagpur University and the courses are approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE). This institute has been consistently achieving record placements of above 90 percent every year, the highest recorded in central India. The institute boasts highly qualified faculty actively engaged in training the students in the present context.

The institute was ranked no. 46 in Mint C-Fore Top Government Engineering College Rankings in 2008 and has consistently found its place among the top fifty engineering colleges in India in leading education surveys.

Campus

Spread over 78 acres, the institute campus is located at Amravati Road in the western part of the city and houses well-equipped laboratories, the best library in central India, computer labs with internet facility, hostels, recreation hall, security, canteen, bank and playground.
