Maharashtra: Class 12 board results announced; 93.37 percent pass

The Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education (MSBSHSE), Pune has declared the HSC (Class 12) 2024 results today, May 21, at 11 AM.

Students can download their results from the official website at 1 pm. The overall pass percentage stands at 93.37 percent. Students can access their results on three websites:, and 

The Maharashtra State Board has selected Target Publications to support students through this initiative and ease congestion on the Board website.

Both the Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) and Secondary School Certificate (SSC) results will be accessible on and the two government websites.

This year, the HSC board theory exams were conducted from February 21 to March 19, 2024. In the Mumbai Division alone, over 3.5 lakh HSC students participated, contributing to a statewide total of 15 lakh candidates. On the other hand, over 16 lakh students from across Maharashtra appeared for the SSC board exam that was held from March 1, 2024. 

As of 2020, 10,654 schools were affiliated with the Maharashtra State Board. The same year, the state government merged the Maharashtra International Education Board with the state board.

Maharashtra State Board is the most popular education board in terms of  high school enrollment in India after the Central Board of Secondary Education. There are nine divisional boards located at Amravati, Aurangabad, Kolhapur, Konkan, Latur, Mumbai, Nagpur, Nashik, and Pune.

Target Publications Pvt.Ltd. publishes educational books and collaborates with a non-profit organisation, “Foundation for Learning & Development”, 6000 coaching institutions, and over 500 schools.
