Masterclass Space is an online academy that offers high quality and easily accessible programs to aspirants of IIT-JEE, SAT, KVPY and other engineering entrance exams. Masterclass Space is the first to leverage technology that allows students from any city or town to access courses on their personal computers or handheld devices. Aimed at tutoring students in a hassle free online environment, Masterclass Space programs are offered on especially designed software and delivered by team of internationally experienced and highly qualified faculty who are alumni of IIT, IIM and BITS-Pilani. The faculty at Masterclass Space also provides counseling to students, encourages and mentors students to achieve great results.
The lectures are conducted live for duration of 1.5 to 2 hours. The class consists of 30-35 students tutored on an interactive learning platform. Students are emailed link to join the live class along with downloadable and printable study material. During the lecture students can ask doubts by using ‘raise hand’ tool or type their questions to faculty, the questions can also be sent privately to the faculty; students can also interact with their classmates and have group discussions. All live classes are recorded and can be accessed by students multiple times for revision. All the written content of class is saved in pdf format and sent to students after class.
The emphasis of Masterclass Space is to utilize time in understanding concepts rather than just writing down the class content. Daily practice problems based on previous lectures are given and surprise tests are conducted during class sessions to ensure students’ attention and engagement. Fortnightly online tests are also conducted to assess students’ performance and update their parents. Students are required to have minimum 5 mbps internet speed and basic computer or laptop (with camera). Students can use mobile app to join live class and access study material while on the go.
Masterclass Space is on the mission to provide high quality education to deserving students at their own comfort zone. This comfort zone may be drawing room of residence, hostel room, and computer lab of school or even residence garden. Masterclass Space strongly believes, when you are at your comfort zone, your concentration level is highest. This can lead to high productivity in education when mentored by the expert educators of their field.
Students of Masterclass Space have achieved All India Ranks of 36 and 75 in IIT-JEE 2017 and many others have secured ranks under 10,000. Masterclass Space Students who approached SAT 2017, have also secured admissions in top foreign universities. One of their students Anjum K has sought admission at Oxford University to study Mechanical Engineering in 2018.
Masterclass Space was established in 2017 by Aditya Raghuwanshi, who holds Bachelors in Mechanical Engineering and Masters in Physics from BITS-Pilani. Aditya was one of the top scorers in Physics in IIT-JEE 2007 at All India Level which finally inclined him to pursue Physics. Having a passion for teaching, Aditya declined offer from McKinsey & Company – a Management Consulting Company after college and instead worked with Eklavya Foundation, a Bhopal based NGO to understand the education scenario in India. He also took experience in engineering sector working as design engineer in Oil & Gas firm in India & Texas, USA but finally returned to follow his passion in academics. A tech enthusiast since college, Aditya was the first to represent India in the World’s Biggest Robotics Competition Robocup-2011, held at Istanbul, Turkey and won the Intel India Embedded Challenge 2011 for his technical contribution. At the age of 21, Aditya became speaker of prestigious TEDx Talks and later represented India at ‘The Future of Science & Education’ conference held at the scientific centre of Russia, Novosibirsk, Siberia as a part of World Festival of Youth and Students 2017 on behalf of BRICS Forum. Along with graduates from IIT Ropar, IIT Delhi and IIM Kozhikode Aditya founded Masterclass Space with an objective to offer high quality education to students living in metro cities who lose time in traffic and travel long distances as well as for students from smaller cities and towns, who do not have quality coaching academies in their hometowns and cannot afford the high cost of living and expensive education in big cities.
