Mapping of all the schools in Mizoram was being conducted and 95 per cent of the work has been completed, according to state School Education minister H Rohluna on October 14.
Speaking at the function where the Sarva Siksha Abhiyan (SSA) Mission officials and the Young Mizo Association (YMA) signed a memorandum of understanding to work together, Rohluna said that the mapping work would be completed by December.
The location of all the schools and profiles will now be available in Google, he said.
He added that cleanliness in educational institutions would be one of the top priorities of the state government and appealed to the NGOs to cooperate with the government in this venture.
