Overview

Promoted in 1989 by Rajendra Prasad Mody, Mody School is an all-girls English medium residential school which offers schooling from class III through XII. The school boasts a 265 acre eco-friendly campus and imparts learning with Indian values with a special emphasis on the holistic development of the student.

Affiliated with the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), New Delhi, Mody School offers the best-in-class facilities to its students with spacious classrooms and well resourced library.

Campus

The 265-acre Mody school campus hosts 30 smart classrooms equipped with ICT learning and wi-fi connectivity. The school hosts separate laboratories for computer, physics, chemistry, home science, biology, biotech, mathematics, geography and art and craft, all equipped with the latest equipment and technology.

Academics

The school offers CBSE curriculum from class III to class XII. The school boasts an average of 1000 students on roll with 80 qualified teachers. The school maintains 1:12 teacher-student ratio to ensure individual attention.

General Information

Admission

The lower age for admission to class III is six years + on the first of April of the year of joining the School, and computed accordingly for higher classes.

Selection of students for admission is on the basis of a General Aptitude Test (GAT) in English and Mathematics based on the general standards of the CBSE, which is followed by an interview.

For admission to class III to V, proof of date of birth from the municipality or any other authorized body is required.

For admission to class VI to XII, transfer certificate issued by recognized schools is mandatory, and in case of transfer from another state or board, it should be duly countersigned by the local District Education Officer / Inspector of schools. Other documents such as medical certificates and copies of passports and visas must be submitted during registration.

Parents/Guardians must accompany the child seeking admission.

Achievement

Academics: The school boasts 100 percent pass percentage in class X and class XII board examinations.

Sports: Throughout the year, a host of inter House and inter school sporting events are conducted for basketball, soccer, hockey, tennis and badminton, among others.

CSR: The school has disbursed Rs. four lakh to needy girl students from nearby by villages. The school has also disbursed Rs. 15 lakh to underprivileged students of the school who cannot afford the fee. The school is also a member of Help Age India, Indian Development Foundation and Rotary Club.
