More than 40,000 understudies to show up in Nagaland state board exams

In the class 12 board assessment,  1,214 were from Commerce, 2,439 from Science and 12,432 understudies were of the Arts stream. The tests will be held in 65 centers across 16 districts of the state.

More than 40,000 understudies will show up for the class 10 and 12 state board assessments in Nagaland this year, an authority said on Monday.

The Higher Secondary School Leaving Certificate (HSSLC) Assessment for class 12 will commence on March 9 and go on till March 31. A sum of 16,085 understudies will show up for the exam, Nagaland Board of School Education (NBSE) chairman Asano Sekhose told PTI.

The High School Leaving Certificate Examination (HSLC) for class 10 will be held from March 10 to March 22. According to her a sum of 24,361 understudies will show up to take the exam.

In the class 12 board assessment, 1,214 were from Commerce, 2,439 from Science and 12,432 understudies were in the Arts stream. The exams will be held in 65 focused centers across 16 districts of the state.

Of the total HSSLC applicants, 7,612 young men and 8,473 are young ladies, Sekhose said.

The class 10 board assessment will be held in 96 focused centers, and 13,164 young women and 11,197 young men will show up in it. Sekhose said that all the centre superintendents have been asked to conduct the examination with fairness.

She said the applicants are banned from conveying any writing material things — like text material (printed or composed), pen drives, gadgets pens/scanners, and calculators.

Requesting that the understudies keep up with discipline, she likewise requested that they abstain from any sort of acts of negligence during the entire examination process. The chairman said anybody falling back on malpractices during the examination will be strictly dealt with according to the principles of the board.
