Mount Assisi School, Bhagalpur, is a coeducational day school affiliated with the Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE), New Delhi. Established in 1972 by the Franciscan Friars, the school is named after St. Francis of Assisi.
The vision of Mount Assisi School, Bhagalpur is to spread the love of God in the heart of all people, in the spirit of St. Francis of Assisi, by imparting the values of human dignity, brother hood, equality, justice and love of nature. The school’s motto is “For God and Country”.
The school campus hosts a well stocked library and a reading room, a conference hall, well equipped laboratories for science, langauage and computers. The classrooms are spacious and well ventilated and are equipped with Smart Class technology to enrich classroom experience and improve the learning process.
Sports facilities include a large playground, basket ball court, play field and a play pen for children of lower classes.

The school follows ICSE curriculum with English as its medium of instruction; however, special emphasis is given to Hindi and Sanskrit. The subjects taught include history, geography, social sciences, mathematics, physics, chemistry, biology, physical training, computer application, commercial application, Hindustani music, economics, fine arts, martial arts and environmental science, among others.
Through sports, games, various activity clubs and hobbies, the latent potentialities of children are discovered, encouraged and fine tuned.
The school lays great emphasis on spiritual and ethical values through teaching of moral science. The school also promotes Social Service League (SSL) and NCC.
