A startling incident at a private school in Nashik has sparked serious concerns about student behavior and safety after several items from condoms to weapons were found in students’ bags.
During a surprise inspection initiated by the school principal in Ghoti, Igatpuri taluka, teachers made a troubling discovery: knives, condoms, playing cards, bicycle chains, and even narcotic substances were found in the bags of Class 8 and 9 students.
The check was initiated after teachers suspected that some students were using drugs in school.
The bag check was reportedly triggered after a few students were reprimanded for sporting unusual hairstyles, prompting staff to dig deeper. What they found was far more alarming than expected.
X (Formerly Twitter) user Raj Maji shared a video showing the confiscated items laid out on a table, including brass knuckles, a knife, a chain, multiple condom packets, and even a pile of Pokémon cards. “A shocking incident has come to light in Nashik, Maharashtra. In a private school in Ghoti, Igatpuri taluka, teachers found alarming items in students’ bags,” he posted.

The discovery has raised red flags among both parents and educators, prompting urgent discussions about campus discipline, student well-being, and the need for stronger preventive measures. While the teachers’ vigilance helped expose the issue, the presence of such items in school bags remains deeply concerning.
