NASR Boys School is an English medium boys’ day school affiliated with the Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE), New Delhi.
Recognized by the Government of Andhra Pradesh, the school was founded on June 12, 1998 with the initiative of Begum Anees Khan (founder of Nasr) and Nawab Mir Khutubuddin Khan. Nasr Boys School is located at Gachibowli in Hyderabad.
The school boasts 1000 students from class I through class X and teaching staff strength of 70. With teacher student ratio of 1:15, the school aims to provide holistic education with the best in class facilities for students and guide them towards personal and academic excellence.
The five-acre school campus offers a peaceful environment conducive to learning. The campus hosts 40 spacious classrooms, four language rooms and six separate well-equipped laboratories for physics, chemistry, biology, wi-fi enabled computer and smart lab. The school library is stocked with 4000 volumes of published books, 4000 journals, 21 magazines, LCDTV with CD player, globes and maps. Other facilities include audio visual room with K-Yan and LCD projector, well catered canteen, auditorium and medical aid.
The campus also hosts a football ground, hockey ground, tennis court, basketball court, riding arena and lush green lawns.
The school offers education from class I to class X. The syllabus is student centric and the teaching methods are an amalgamation of traditional and contemporary. Burton Clark’s Triangle is one of the practiced pedagogies at NASR.
