Students are subjected to continuous assessments and application based questions are incorporated in testing. Grades are awarded on an eight point scale in keeping with the norms of CBSE.

SportsAdmission is open to all children from class I to IX and XI, irrespective of caste, creed, race, region or gender; however preference is given to siblings, children of Alumni and teachers and for those nationally mobile group and those from Central transferable services of India.
Application forms must be collected in person duly filled and handed-over at the school office. Selected students are required to qualify themselves in a written test before admission is ensured.
Registration for admission does not guarantee a seat. Admission is granted based on the vacancies that may occur during the academic year.
Entrance test for classes II to IX are conducted before granting admission as it determines the individual skills a student has acquired before joining NPS.
The age eligibility for class I is 6 years and accordingly for the other respective classes.
