Founded in 1967 by the Navrachana Education Society under the guidance of Smt. Savitaben Amin, Navrachana School, Sama, Vadodara, is an independent, co-educational, English-medium school affiliated with the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), New Delhi. The school has built a legacy of over 58 years of academic excellence and holistic education.

Navrachana offers a balanced education from pre-primary to higher secondary levels and has received national recognition such as the Nation’s Highest Computer Literacy Excellence Award from the President of India and the International School Award from the British Council. Academics

Admission

Leaders in the Use of Technology in Education

In 2003, the school received the Computer Literacy Excellence Award from the President of India, recognizing its pioneering use of technology in education. The teachers, many of whom are Microsoft Certified Educators (MCE), effectively integrate digital tools to enhance learning and promote 21st-century skills among students.

The year 2024–25 was a landmark one for Navrachana School, marked by exceptional accomplishments across academics, leadership, innovation, and co-curricular excellence.

The school’s pursuit of excellence began on a high note with two prestigious honours at the World Education Congress 2024 in Mumbai — the Skill Development Leadership Award and the Best Institutional Overall Award, received by principal Ms. Suprabha Menon and secondary stage coordinator Ms. Anagha Koteshwar. Adding to this, the school earned the ET TECH X Trailblazer School of the Year Award 2024–25 at HITEX, Hyderabad, recognizing excellence in co-curricular activities, happiness quotient, and life skills education.

Navrachana was also conferred the ‘School of Eminence’ award with a 1+ City Ranking by Education World School Rankings, maintaining its position among the top 1% CBSE schools in India for ten consecutive years. The school further won the ‘Best Nurturing Creativity and Innovation’ Award at the 10th Innoventure Challenge by Intelligence Plus.

Sessions on digital safety and disaster management underscored Navrachana’s focus on student well-being and preparedness. The Cybersecurity Surakshit Session by Dr. Rakshit Tandon and a two-day Disaster Management Training Program led by Dr. Vinod Bhardwaj — co-author of the CBSE Manual on Disaster Management with principal Ms. Menon — strengthened the school’s commitment to holistic education.

Academic Excellence

Navrachana achieved an outstanding 100% pass rate in both CBSE Class 10 and 12 board examinations.

In Class 12, Archita Bhavsar and Dikita Panchal topped the city and school with 99% in Humanities, followed by Aadit Bhagade, the Science City Topper with 98.2%, and Siddharth Agrawal, Commerce Topper with 96.2%. Thirty-one students scored a perfect 100, and 56 students achieved over 90%.

In Class 10, Shipra Pradeep emerged as School Topper with 98.6%, followed by Abhya Namdeo, Tanvi Jaiswal, and Hanah Kak. Fifty-one students scored a perfect 100 in individual subjects, and 68 students achieved over 90%.

Student Accomplishments

The year witnessed remarkable student innovation and recognition.
Nikhil Lemos reached the top 500 of the global RISE Program, pitched his project MEDITEL at Udyamotsav 2025, and received the Diana Award from the British Royal Family. Aadil Sengupta joined him in the RISE top 500 with his STEM project SWAPATH.

Gaurika Kalia and Vanshika Goyel were among the top five at the CBSE National Science Exhibition, while Gaurika also secured the First Runner-up position in the Eureka! Junior Business Plan Competition by IIT Bombay. The team of Sreehari Sreejesh, Aanshi Sheth, and Dhyana Brahmbhatt won the Macmillan Budding Scientist Award 2024–25 Nationals at IIT Delhi for their innovative project Jal Hi Jivan.

Aadit Bhagade achieved International Rank 2 in the International Mathematics Olympiad. Other notable achievements included awards in robotics, writing, art, dance, and music at national and international platforms, underscoring Navrachana’s multifaceted talent.

Sports Achievements

Navrachana athletes excelled across diverse disciplines.
The U-19 Girls Football Team won bronze at CBSE Nationals, while the U-17 Girls were district champions and state runners-up in the Subroto Cup. The U-19 Girls Basketball Team won gold at the CBSE Cluster and bronze at the Nationals, marking the 16th consecutive year of qualifying for nationals.

Shaivi Dalal ranked seventh nationally and first in Gujarat in Tennis U-16, while Arya Patel captained the Baroda U-19 Cricket Team at the BCCI Vinoo Mankad Trophy. Navrachana’s athletes also shone in karate, kho-kho, handball, dodgeball, swimming, and rifle shooting at state and national levels.

Leadership and Faculty Excellence

Principal Ms. Suprabha Menon continued her impactful leadership as a member of four key CBSE national committees and as a Master Trainer conducting principal workshops across India. She and her team led multiple CBSE programs, national conferences, and workshops on art integration, disaster management, and organizational leadership.

Navrachana proudly celebrates 86 teachers recognized as Microsoft Innovative Educator Experts for 2024–25 and several AI Certified Educators, reaffirming the school’s strength in digital pedagogy.

Campus Events, Community Engagement and Global Exposure

The year saw vibrant celebrations through NavFest 2024, the first NavLit Fest, and TEDx and TED-Ed platforms featuring students’ original ideas.
