Overview

Nehru International Public School, Sector 11, Noida is a coeducational day school affiliated with the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), New Delhi. Established in 2003 by the Atari Educational and Technological Society (AETS) in association with Jawahar Lal Nehru National Youth Center (JNNYC), the school offers classes from kindergarten through class XII.

The school aims to provide child centered education with a pursuit for excellence in all fields and developing team spirit, respect for the country’s culture and spirit of nationalism. The school also aims at broadening mental horizons, building confidence and self-esteem, developing creativity and imagination and channelising youthful energies towards creativity and self-actualisation.

Campus

The 3.5 acre school campus hosts well ventilated classrooms, a sick room, well-furnished auditorium with a seating capacity of 800, an AV room, computer lab, counseling room, games park and an indoor activity rooms.

Academics

The school lays emphasis on teaching English through phonetics – communicative skills are enhanced by teaching pronunciation through innovative techniques. The school is also equipped with smart classes to transform the learning process.

In the kindergarten section, emphasis is laid on personality development through interactive methods in a creatively stimulating and joyful atmosphere. In classes I and II, subjects taught include English, Hindi, mathematics, environmental studies, art, craft, computer education, physical education, aerobics, dance and music. From classes III to V, students learn English, Hindi, mathematics, social studies, general science, computer science, general knowledge, value education, art, music, craft and aerobics.

In classes VI to X, subjects taught include English, Hindi, mathematics, general science, Information Technology, History, Civics, Geography, Sanskrit, Art, Craft, General Knowledge, Projects, Music, Physical Education, Creative Writing and Value Education. At the senior secondary level, the school offers science and commerce streams.

Admissions for kindergarten level starts in September. For admission to kindergarten, the child should be between 3 and 4 years of age as on April 1 of the academic year in which admission is sought.
