New Delhi Public School (NDPS) is an English-medium, co-educational, day-school that aims to provide a balanced education for the holistic development of their students. It was established in year 1996 by St. Tulsi Memorial Educational Society (Regd.) and is managed by the same. The school is affiliated with the CBSE board and has classes beginning from nursery to grade XII.
The 1.51 acres of campus is well-equipped with equally well-maintained facilities and provisions such as dance rooms, Gymnasium, Music Room, Health and Medical Check-ups and Laboratories. The library is 980 sqm big and has roughly about 30 periodicals, 8 dailies, 200 reference books per class, 30 magazines, 11,000 books on various topics and subjects.
It also has an Eco Club that inculcates within students awareness and sensitivity regarding environmental issues.
The medium of instruction is English and the school is affiliated with the CBSE and strictly follows the syllabi prescribed by the board and NCERT. It offers classes from Nursery to grade XII, and offers all the streams – science, commerce, humanities – to students of XI and XII. The academic session usually lasts from April 1 to March 31.
