Niraj International School, Hyderabad was promoted by the Niraj Educational Society in 2009. Niraj Educational Society is chaired by Dr. Jyothi Reddy and supported by eminent board of governors.
The school presently has 220 students from nursery through class X mentored by 34 teachers. It maintains teacher student ratio of 1:10.
Professional development of teachers is an inherent part of the school’s philosophy. On an average, each teacher spends 10 days each year on teaching training programmes and workshops.
The 7 acre school campus offers a peaceful environment conducive to learning. The school hosts 19 spacious, wi-fi enabled classrooms equipped with computers, ceiling mounted projectors with white boards for projection facility and separate laboratories for Physics, Chemistry and Biology for the senior school.
In the junior section, the school hosts an exploration room for the pre-primary section and a resource room for the primary section. The school library is stocked with 4500 books, news papers, journals and magazines.
Games and sports facilities include indoor basketball court, elevated jogging track, swimming pool, cricket ground with flood lights, two tennis courts, volley ball court, jungle gym (for pre-primary students) and two pre-primary play area. Other facilities include wellness room equipped with medical facility and transportation facility.
Niraj International School offers schooling from Nursery to class X and conducts IBPYP (International Baccalaureate Primary Years programme) for Nursery to class V students. The school offers the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) curriculum for classes VI to X.

Niraj International School admits students on the basis of the following criteria:
Age of the student.
Scores of the written tests (Grade IV onwards)
Student’s academic record.
The test is conducted as follows:
Early years (Nursery, Junior KG and Senior KG): Informal interaction.
Grades 1-3: Basic skills and personal interaction.
Grade 4 onward: Written test in English and Maths.
Grades 4 and 5 are also asked to write a composition/reflection of approximately 200 words. The child is expected to write in his/ her own handwriting.
The written test comprises multiple choice questions and there is no fixed syllabus. The tests are followed by a personal interaction with the Principal.
On being granted admission, an Agreement / Indemnity Form is required to be completed.
Children who are physically challenged and who have Special Education Needs are admitted on a case to case basis.
The school bagged the silver medal in an international essay competition conducted by the Royal Commonwealth Society in April 2013.
At the 16th National Science Olympiad 2013, the school won 7 gold medals, 3 silver medals and 2 bronze medals.
Niraj International School received the British Council’s prestigious International School Award (ISA) for 2012-2015.
At the 13th SOF Cyber Olympiad 2013, the school won 3 gold medals, 1 silver medal and 1 bronze medal.
In 2013, the school was awarded a certificate from the British Council for completing a Wiz Kids course
Being a day school, Niraj International School, Hyderabad does not offer accommodation facility.
