Campus

The school hosts a well equipped library with more than 7000 books and a wide range of CD/DVD collection, two computer labs – one each for primary and senior school, well equipped physics, chemistry and biology labs, and class rooms equipped with projectors. The school also houses a canteen and facilities for cricket, basket ball, yoga and chess.

Academics

Niraj Public School follows the iDiscoveri Xseed curriculum. At the preprimary level, focus is on developing motor control, communication, and social and emotional development. Children learn subjects such as English, math and general knowledge. Emphasis is laid on experiential learning, and intellectual growth supported by learning aids such as age appropriate toys, flash cards, charts, models and puppets. Children are also encouraged to engage in art/craft, music, dance and games, skit, role play, and drama to enhance their creativity and imaginative skills.

At the primary level, teaching is activity based and the iDiscoveri Xseed curriculum helps generate motivation and curiosity in teachers and students and promotes understanding of concepts, encourages hands on experience and aims at building immense self confidence among children. Various games, experiments, and activities are conducted for subjects such as math and science for better understanding of concepts. Presentations on lessons are done using different aids for social studies and science by the students.

At the high school level, the school focuses on the blossoming of the all-round personality of the student with emphasis on Indian values. Lessons are delivered using smart boards and projectors, computer and its various facets are used productively and effectively in the school. Power point presentations, audio – visuals, LCDs, OHPs etc are used to enhance classroom teaching and making concept learning interesting and impactful. Students are exposed to debates, elocution, exhibitions, quiz etc.
