Nirmala Public School, Muvattupuzha is an English medium co-educational day school promoted by the Kothamangalam Diocese Educational and Charitable Trust in 1998. Affiliated with the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), New Delhi, the school aims to “impart quality education and enrich the learning environment in order to optimise each child’s overall development…”

The school is committed to academic and co-scholastic excellence. It offers classes up to higher secondary level with Science and Commerce streams available after class X. The focus of the school is in training children to strive hard to achieve academic excellence.

Campus

Sited off Muvattupuzha-Thodupuzha Road adjacent to Nirmala College, the 3.6 acre Nirmala Public School campus hosts a 1.4 acre playground and three buildings (blocks) equipped with 26 digital classrooms and 5 science labs. In addition to 56 computers, the computer lab also has web servers. Two libraries are maintained by the school, a sports facility is provided and rooms for dance and music are also available.

The campus hosts 3 auditoriums for cultural events; 8 activity rooms are also provided. The school is under CCTV surveillance and employs reliable security services. The Nirmala Medical Centre is the closest hospital, only 2.5 kilometer away.

Since 2003, after its provisional affiliation with the CBSE, Nirmala Public School follows CBSE syllabus from classes LKG to XII. The admission process takes place between5th May and 31st May. For the admission form, please check the school website or inquire at the office. The office timings are 8:30 AM to 4:00 PM.
