OPS aims to touch the universe and beyond, impact every generation that may come further. Until now, people practiced parenting in their own traditional ways but OPS tries to bring in modern ways in which one can make the parenting experience much more fun yet unique.
Here is the story of Nupur Jain, who talks about her journey as a parent.
My name is Nupur Jain and I am a mother to Rudra, a cute 3-year-old kid. I live in a family of 4 in Hyderabad and Professionally I’m a software engineer. My parenting style has always been jumbled and mixed up. In the initial days, it was very difficult for me to manage my baby along with my work but this pandemic changed the dynamics. During this pandemic, I observed that all my kid needs is plenty of attention and time. And, I give him all my attention because I know that this time won’t come back again. It’s like cherishing every moment that we spend together.
My heart fills with joy when my kid says I love you, Mumma. This feeling is one of the best for every mother out there. We share a very unique bond, we are best friends first. The worst thing that I can think about my kid is to leave him unattended psychologically. All of this can impact my child in different ways; I can’t take any risks to put his future in a dark place. This is why I analyze him and his behaviour from time to time. Being a mother it is important to do things in a better way, to make his future better.
The best moment of my life was when I gave Water-birth of my baby boy, this moment was wonderful. I always wanted to try something different and this was it. My relationship with my son is going very well and has improved over one year. But, there is scope for improvement in terms of time management and patience. I need to devote more time to my kid simultaneously keeping the profession in mind.
Here, the online parenting summit can help me in figuring out how I can manage my roles as a mother and software engineer. The summit can help by finding ways in which I can increase my patience level with my kid. Sometimes it becomes very difficult to handle yourself with kids. And, finally, one last thing I’m looking forward to is to help me gain methods and ways in which I can analyze the psychological needs of my kid.
