Online Parenting Summit, parent success story: Rashmita Padhiyar

Online parenting Summit (OPS) 2021 elaborates on various methods of parenting, a celebration of parenthood. The summit helps to reboot parenting and develop a friendly relationship between parents and their children. The concept of OPS is to create an impact on parents and their parenting styles. OPS aims to touch the universe and beyond, impact every generation that may come further. Until now, people practiced parenting in their own traditional ways but OPS tries to bring in modern ways in which one can make the parenting experience much more fun yet unique.

Here is the story of Rashmita Padhiyar, who talks about her journey as a parent.

OPS: Rashmita Padhiyar

My name is Rashmita Padhiyar and I am a mom to an adorable two-years-old boy, Mitansh Rathod. We are a nuclear family living in Hyderabad. I left my job for my son so that I can take full care of him and be there for him whenever he needs me. The pandemic made me feel that my child deserves something better than this situation, a toddler who needs to explore around with curiosity instead of being caged at home.

I started spending hours over the internet to search what activities he could do to give him an idea of the outer world. Being a mom, I want his childhood to be colourful and amazing. My child became very curious and adopted this new normal with open arms and achieved it gradually. Every moment he tried something new, my joy knew no bounds.

I will never impose anything on my child. I will always try to be a parent who can give ample freedom of thought and expression so that he can portray whatever he thinks is right. I have already started working on it and yes results are positive. There are so many moments of my life that I can cherish. My kid has made me proud so many times already. He stood by me and supported me at a very young age; it was a bonding that could make others go aha. I believe that we are growing day by day; we are not bound by the tag of a mother and son. We are trying to understand each other day by day.

I am willing to attend the online parenting summit as it could help me understand how we can create a better environment for my child staying at home. I need more creative ideas for him to learn things with excitement in this new normal. If you also wish to register for the summit, here is the link.
