Online Parenting Summit, parent success story: Surya Deepthi Y

Online parenting Summit (OPS) 2021 elaborates on various methods of parenting, a celebration of parenthood. The summit helps to reboot parenting and develop a friendly relationship between parents and their children. The concept of OPS is to create an impact on parents and their parenting styles. OPS aims to touch the universe and beyond, impact every generation that may come further. Until now, people practiced parenting in their own traditional ways but OPS tries to bring in modern ways in which one can make the parenting experience much more fun yet unique.

Here is the story of Surya Deepthi Y, who talks about her journey as a parent.

OPS: Surya Deepthi Y

My name is Surya Deepthi Y and I’m a mother to two toddlers. My older son is Kethan Sri Ram, who is two years old and my younger one is Chethan Satya Dev who is nine months old. We live in Guntur, Andhra Pradesh and there are four members in the family. My husband is a chartered accountant and I’m a business analyst. This pandemic has made me believe that this generation survives on gadgets and if one cannot control their kids, they will be addicted to it. Kethan understands me when I tell him what is good and what is bad. Sometimes, he acts stubborn but I do not force things upon him as he’ll understand as he grows. I feel he is a mamma’s boy.

My parenting style does not have any methods and techniques, I usually go with the flow. We usually make it a point not to force anything. My child should have the freedom to speak and choose whatever he wants in his life. The most heartfelt moment of my life is when I tell my own bedtime stories to my kid and he enjoys it a lot. It reminds me of my childhood.

We share a unique bond together and that is growing day by day. This pandemic has gifted me ample time and I can focus on both of my kids.

I am excited to attend the Online Parenting Summit, 2021. Being a mother, I want to know how different parents adopt parenting styles because I do not think I have one. It can help me grow as a parent and manage my role as a mother and business analyst. If you wish to register for the online parenting Summit, 2021 followed the link.
