Pearl Academy announces commencement of admissions for 2017-18

Pearl Academy, India’s leading private institution in design, fashion and business, has commenced its admission process for the academic year 2017-18 for its campuses in Delhi, Noida, Mumbai and Jaipur. Students can choose to apply to 3 or 4 years undergraduate pathway; 1 year or 2 years postgraduate pathway, and 11 month certificate programmes.
For the upcoming January cycle of admissions to Pearl Academy, the last date of submission of application forms for applicants is January 16, 2017.

The selection will be based on the basis of their academic performance followed by a written admission test and personal interview. The candidates who are in their final year of graduation can also apply.

Applicants with minimum qualifying scores in MAT (500 and above), CAT (60 percent and above) and GMAT (450 and above) will be entitled for the waiver of General Proficiency Test (GPT).

Applicants of PG Pathway in Design streams and UG pathway in Interior Design and Product Design are entitled for waiver of General Proficiency Test (GPT) & Design Aptitude Test (DAT) if they have appeared for CEED 2016/2017 and NATA 2016/2017 respectively. Such applicants will be called for a personal interview directly subject to submission of valid scores.

Keeping in view the tremendous growth of media and communication industry, the institution has launched a new school of ‘Media and Journalism’, which offers following courses:

– Fashion, Media communication (4 year undergraduate pathway)
– Fashion Communication (2 year post graduate pathway)
– Journalism & Mass Media (3 year under graduate pathway) (2 year post graduate pathway)
– Professional Photography (11 months professional certificate)

Pearl Academy will also offer upto 50 percent scholarships to 200 deserving candidates this year. Based on Pearl Academy entrance test results, the scholarships will be offered to new entrants at the time of admission, for first year only. However, Merit Scholarship (Course Toppers) will be awarded annually to students who have topped their respective cohorts.

This year, the institution also witnessed a very successful placement drive across the country, with more than 97 percent of students securing job offers from various corporates and designer brands. Pearl Academy also saw a growth of over 20 percent in recruiting companies visiting the campus to hire professionals than the previous year.

Course Eligibility:

For 3-Year/4-Year Under Graduate Pathway: 10+2, or equivalent with minimum 50 percent marks

For 2 Year/ 1-Year Post Graduate Pathway: Graduate in any discipline from a recognised university

For 11 month certificate programmes: 10+2, or equivalent

Scholarships: Upto 50 percent scholarships to 200 deserving candidates
