Founded on July 20, 1992 by Maharaja Gaj Singhji Sahib, Rajmata Krishna Kumari Girls’ Public School Jodhpur was named after his mother Her Highness Rajmata Krishna Kumari. Inaugurated by Her Majesty the Queen of Nepal, it runs under the auspices of His Highness Maharaja Hanwant Singh Ji Charitable Trust and is administered by a Board of Governors with His Highness Maharaja Gaj Singh Ji of Marwar as the Chairman of the Board. The school is situated in Jodhpur, Western Rajasthan and spans an area of five acres.
The five acre Rajmata Krishna Kumari Girls’ Public School campus hosts a well-stocked library featuring 2100 general books and subject reference, 2000 text books, 1300 reference books (dictionary, encyclopedia, year book, atlas, tour guides), 3000 English language and literature books, CDS & DVDS, and eight weekly periodicals.
RKK School hosts well-equipped laboratories for physics, chemistry, mathematics, fine arts, and geography and an infirmary catering to the health and well-being of 1300 day scholars and 200 boarders.

A child enters the portals of Rajmata Krishna Kumari Girls’ Public School at the tender age of three years at the nursery level and spends two more years in the pre primary section.
Based on CBSE guidelines, classes VI to X are also exposed to the CCE (continuous comprehensive evaluation) through formative and summative assessment.
The students are offered a choice of a second language Hindi / Sanskrit.
At senior secondary level, the school offers three streams for the AISSCE classes. They are humanities, commerce and science.

The admission process at Rajmata Krishna Kumari Girls’ Public School is as follows
Class Prep & I: The number of seats in these classes is very limited. Admission is based on the availability of seats. There is no written admission test for these classes, but just an informal interaction.
Classes II to IX: On account of extremely few vacancies and the number of applicants being more, an informal screening is done in the form of an assessment in English, Hindi and maths so that fairness in the admission procedure is ensured.
Class X & XII: No admission is granted in these granted as per CBSE policies. Only a government servant on transfer can seek admission in these classes.
Class XI: Admission is granted based on the CBSE result of the student. The student has to qualify the cut off set by the school for admission to three different streams – Science, Commerce and Humanities.
