Rani Laxmi Bai Memorial School, Indira Nagar, Lucknow is a day school affiliated with the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), New Delhi. The school follows coeducational system up to class VIII while for classes IX to XII it admits only girls. The school was founded by Sri Jai Pal Singh in 1984 with classes up to VIII and was initially recognised by the UP Government Education Department. The school became affiliated with the CBSE in 1994.
The 1 acre school campus hosts lush green lawns and buildings constructed according to fire safety and other disaster resistant norms and is divided into three blocks – senior block, junior block and primary block. The middle and senior school classrooms are spacious and well ventilated, while the primary and junior wings are fully air conditioned.
The campus also houses a library stocked with over 31,569 books, well equipped physics, chemistry and biology laboratories, spacious assembly hall, music room and art and craft room. There are two large air-conditioned computer laboratories, an infirmary and a canteen. The campus is monitored with CCTV cameras for strict surveillance and has generator sets to provide uninterrupted supply.
From pre-primary to class X, the school offers the CBSE curriculum with subjects such as English, Hindi, Sanskrit, math, science, physical education, art education, work experience as compulsory and Information Technology as an additional subject. Computer education starts from class III and Sanskrit from class VI. Social Science is an integrated course of history, geography, civics, economics and disaster management.
In classes XI and XII, the school offers a choice in the following streams:
1. Science Stream
Group A: English, biology, physics, chemistry, Hindi/introductory computer science.
Group B: English, physics, chemistry, mathematics, introductory computer sciences/Hindi/biology
2. Commerce Stream
Group A: English, Hindi, business studies, accountancy, economics.
Group B: English, business studies, accountancy, economics, introductory computer science/mathematics.
The school hosts Youth Parliament Competitions every year and annual inter school competitions in languages (spoken and written), math, art and science/social studies. The school also conducts sports competitions and cultural programs.
Admission for nursery starts in January and to be eligible for admission to nursery, the candidate should be 3 years plus at the time of admission.
Admission for other classes up to class XI is subject to vacancy and starts in the month of April. For admission to classes higher than nursery, the candidate should have passed the previous class from a recognised school.

Rani Laxmi Bai School, Lucknow has consistently been achieving 100 percent results in the CBSE Board Examinations and students have also been scoring 100 percent in math and 95 percent and above in other individual subjects and aggregate year after year. According to a school spokesperson, the reason for the school’s scholastic excellence is constant academic and administrative supervision by the principal along with supervision and guidance given by the school’s department of inspection, the school also holds regular extra classes for children who need guidance.
Being a day school, Rani Laxmi Bai School, Lucknow does not offer accommodation facility.
