RICS SBE announces total virtual admission process to avoid human contact

In the wake of the pandemic caused by Covid -19, RICS School of Built Environment, Amity University, has decided to make its admission process to its Built Environment courses, totally virtual to completely avoid human contact. This is the institute’s own small contribution to contain the spread of deadly Covid-19. The institute today announced a slew of online and virtual methodologies to facilitate both the pre- and post-admission processes, to ensure all-round safety of prospective students, parents and its staff.

RICS SBE has categorized various sub-processes of admission procedure to its Built Environment courses and is implementing online solutions for each subprocess.

The institute hopes that this initiative will help the candidates and the institute to complete the admission process without any interruption. The institute offers four courses – MBA in Real Estate & Urban Infrastructure, MBA in Construction Project Management, MBA in Construction Economics & Quantity Surveying, and Post Graduate Diploma in Facilities Management through its campuses in Noida and Mumbai. Interested students can e-apply from 17th march 2020.

MBA Construction Project Management from the RICS School of Built Environment, Amity University is the first ever degree program accredited by PMI-GAC in India. Accreditation by both these prestigious professional bodies assures a world class academic experience to the students as well as enhances the employability of the graduates.

RICS School of Built Environment had completed the final placements of its final year students (Batch 2017-2019) in various courses with top international packages and domestic -packages amounting to Rs. 32 lakhs.

Commenting on the current situation, Ashwani Awasthi Managing Director of RICS SBE, said, “The current situation requires us to consider and implement all possibilities to ensure the safety of students, their parents and our staff. So, in order to ease out the campus application process, RICS School of Built Environment has taken a complete online initiative, will organize virtual interviews, meetings with faculties & virtual campus tours.”                  

Candidates seeking admission to Noida or Mumbai campuses are required to fulfill the following eligibility criteria-

Noida campus – 50% marks in Graduation with a min score of MAT-450/GMAT- 450/ CMAT – 100 or percentile in CAT/XAT – 65 / NMAT – 50 or Amity’s Written Test on the day of Interview.

Mumbai campus – min 50% marks in Graduation with min score of MAT-500/GMAT- 500 or percentile in CAT/XAT – 75 / NMAT – 60 Or Amity’s Written Test on the day of Interview.
