Overview

Founded in 1999, Rungta College of Engineering and Technology (RCET) is a private engineering college located at Bhilai, Chhattisgarh. It is managed by the Santosh Rungta Group of Institutions and is affiliated with the Chhattisgarh Swami Vivekanand Technical University. It is accredited by the National Board of Accreditation (NBA) and approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE). RCET’s mission is to produce qualified and competent graduates to serve humanity by providing environment for holistic development through excellence in education and inculcating ethical values and sense of social and environmental responsibility.

Campus

The 150 acre college campus hosts 124 e-classrooms with LCD, tablet PCs and IP cameras, 65 tutorial rooms, 4 auditoriums with a combined seating capacity of 2000 students, 2 open air stages with a seating capacity of 6000 students, well-stocked library with over 1 lac books in total; periodicals, references, national and international journals, covering all aspects of academic studies and research materials. Sports facilities include basketball, cricket, football, volley ball, gymnasium, squash and swimming pool.
