Promoted on August 5, 1996, Salwan Public School is a coeducational day school affiliated with the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), New Delhi. The school was founded by the Salwan Education Trust, established in 1941 by Late Shri Girdhari Lal Salwan.
The school maintains a teacher student ratio of 1:35, and promotes high performance standards to help students reach uncommon heights. Apart from regular courses, the school offers examinations in various subjects in collaboration with the University of Cambridge and offers contemporary subjects such as environmental studies, sustainable development programs, psychology etc.

Labs for physics, chemistry, life sciences and biology are equipped with state-of-the-art equipment, models, chemicals and various other gadgets, to allow students to experiment.
The primary section library features around 6000 books. Different activities like word building, picture competitions, and story acting are conducted to develop reading habits among the students. The senior library offers over 8000 books and is equipped with a wide collection of reading and research material, latest fiction, poetry, philosophical books, magazines, comics, newspapers, text-books, audio and video cassettes, CDs, DVDs and other visual aids.

SportsThe admission process for session 2013-14 commences on January 2. The prospectus can be obtained from the school office from January 2, 2013 to January 16, 2013 between 9:00 am – 12:30 pm, on all working days.
Age Eligibility
The child should be 3+years as on March 31 of the year of admission.
Fees:
The school fees and other charges are fixed at the beginning of the session and collected in quarterly installments beginning from April 1 to March 31 of the academic session. The admission fee is non-refundable. Detailed fee structure is available on request from the school.
