SCAD World School is a co-educational international residential school affiliated with the Cambridge Assessment International Examinations (CAIE), UK. Founded in 2012, the international school campus spreads across 120 acres at Palladam near Coimbatore, providing academic and extra-curricular facilities to its students.
SCAD World School integrates the best teaching approaches from across the world. At SCAD World School, projects are designed to aid comprehensive understanding in each student. SCAD World School, Coimbatore is sited on a 120 acre eco-friendly campus with 300,000 square feet of built up area. A part of the 500 acre SCAD Knowledge City, the school is surrounded by Western Ghats in the north and south west.
The classrooms are spacious and well ventilated and equipped with basic amenities, projectors, e-boards, and computers, with capacity of 20 students in each room.
The school library is equipped with an exhaustive stock of books and journals, helping students to use it extensively. The library also provides audio-visual materials; the collection of books is up to date.
The science laboratory, which caters to students of all grades, is equipped with the latest equipments and materials. The math lab offers games and equipment that enable hands-on learning experiences while enjoying the lessons.
SCAD World School, Coimbatore provides outdoor sports facilities such as 400 meter athletics track, playgrounds for cricket, football and softball, horse riding arena, tennis court, basketball court, rock-climbing wall and swimming pool. Indoor sports facilities such as archery, badminton, billiards, carrom, martial arts, rifle shooting, skating, table tennis and yoga are also provided.
With a capacity of 1500 seats, the school auditorium hosts all school events and cultural programmes.

At SWS, the education aims to provide students with the abilities that would work towards developing students’ diligence, understanding and the skills to draw inferences, self-decided learning, and endurance to prepare for the future. Building a sense of responsibility towards the community and environment is at the core of all academic and co-curricular activities at SWS. The core academic subjects are English and Mathematics, which are the basic pre-requisites to help build the solid foundational capabilities in any child.
At the upper secondary level student must study at least five subjects including English.
At the advanced level student must study at least two or three subjects along with AS level English. An advanced level English examination is available for excellent performing students.
