Pramod Sharma
School Advisor

A distinguished educationist with a career spanning 50 years, Pramod Sharma brings a wealth of experience and expertise to his role as school advisor. He began his career as a chemistry teacher in the prestigious Doon School, Dehradun, and later served in leadership roles at TN Academy, Gangtok, Yadavindra Public School, Patiala, and Mayo College, Ajmer including in schools in Afghanistan and Nigeria. Also a sports enthusiast who enjoys playing tennis and badminton, Sharma promotes a holistic approach to education that gives equal priority to academics and physical fitness.

In 2000, Sharma was presented the National Award for Teachers by the President of India. His impactful decade-long service as a member of CBSE’s governing body is widely commended.

Beyond his role in school leadership, Sharma has held key positions including Convenor INTACH, Ajmer and Pushkar, and Vice-Chairman of the Rajasthan Scouts and Guides. As the former chairman of the Indian Public Schools Conference (IPSC), he was conferred with the Lifetime Achievement Award in 2008. Currently, he is an honorary member of Round Square and IPSC.

A mathematics graduate and business management postgrad of Delhi and Lancaster (UK) universities and a distinguished alumna of the premier Indian Institute of Management, Calcutta, Pooja Rai Chauhan has over a decade of educational leadership and management experience. Under her dynamic leadership, DWPS has transcended traditional boundaries to be propelled to world-class standards. Her commitment involves setting exceptional standards of academic excellence, providing a diverse range of extra-curricular activities and world-class facilities, and ensuring the safety and security of every child through a team of competent and devoted staff.

In 2021, Pooja was conferred the Education Excellence Award by Rajasthan’s Governor Shri Kalraj Mishra.
