Overview

Founded in 2011, Shiv Nadar University (SNU), Delhi NCR is a multi-disciplinary, student-centric, research-focused university. SNU offers a wide range of academic programs at the undergraduate, postgraduate and doctoral level. It aims to equip students with the breadth of vision, knowledge, skills and attitudes required to succeed in the careers of the 21st century.

Campus

SNU’s 286-acre wi-fi enabled campus offers one of the best-in-class infrastructure and facilities. The campus hosts well-equipped electronics laboratory, communication systems laboratory, digital signal processing laboratory, integrated circuits laboratory, high voltage laboratory, virtual instrumentation and signal processing laboratory, dynamics laboratory, and CAD CAM laboratory.

The library and information centre houses a reference section, circulation section, audio-visual section, periodical section, book bank and digital library.

SNU hosts a well-furnished and well-equipped canteen in the campus which provides hygienic and nutritious food for the staff and students.

Sports facilities include basketball courts, cricket ground, football ground, volleyball courts, fitness centre, jogging track, and facilities for billiards and snooker.

Admission

The admission process at SNU can be outlined as follows:

Stage – 1: Initial screening based on class XII or JEE (Main) scores

Stage – 2: SNUSAT and academic proficiency Test (APT) – A three-hour test to be administered in 100 Pearson VUE test centres across India helping every aspirant to participate in the process

Stage – 3: Review of application form for the candidate’s aspiration in life and the ability to be a stakeholder at Shiv Nadar University
