The Shri Ram College of Commerce (SRCC) was established in 1920 by businessman-philanthropist Shri Ram, founder of the formerly blue-chip DCM group of companies, who also promoted the Lady Shri Ram College, Delhi. The college has 150 faculty members tutoring nearly 1,850 undergraduate students and about 100 students in masters program. Apart from its bachelors and masters programs in economics and commerce, SRCC also offers a two-year postgraduate program in academic collaboration with the Leseg School of Management, France in international trade - the Global Business Operation Program (GBO). GBO has an annual intake of 62 students with a 100 percent placement record with premier companies such as Standard Chartered Bank, Smart Cube, Trident Group, and Unicon Investments hiring its postgraduates at an average remuneration package of Rs.6.8 lakhs per year.
