Sir Padampat Singhania School (SPSS), Kota, was established in 1996 by founder chairperson Shree Govind Hari Singhania to carry forward the legacy of his father, Sir Padampat Singhania. Over the past three decades, the school has developed into an institution focused on academic excellence, innovation and holistic education. Its motto is “Learning with Innovation”.

The school aims to provide inclusive and future-ready education that supports the intellectual, emotional, social, physical and ethical development of every learner. Campus

Spread across 6.91 acres, the school campus has 84 classrooms equipped with information and communication technology facilities.

Academics

Sir Padampat Singhania School is affiliated with the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) and offers education from Nursery to Class XII.

The school follows innovative and learner-centred pedagogies, including experiential learning, competency-based education, collaborative teaching, continuous assessment and the application of classroom knowledge to real-life situations. Teaching practices emphasise critical thinking, creativity, communication and meaningful student participation.

The school has an average class strength of approximately 40 students and employs 98 teachers. It follows CBSE-prescribed staffing norms, maintaining a pupil–teacher ratio of no more than 30:1 and approximately 1.5 teachers per section.

Around nine days are dedicated annually to teacher training and professional development. This meets or exceeds the CBSE requirement of 50 hours of Continuous Professional Development per teacher every year. Admission

Admission is subject to age and eligibility requirements, seat availability and applicable government and CBSE regulations.

For Nursery to Class VII, admission is based on age eligibility, previous academic records and, where applicable, an entrance assessment or interaction. Admissions to Class VIII and below follow State Government guidelines.

Applicants to Class IX must have passed Class VIII from a recognised school. Admission to Class XI requires successful completion of Class X through CBSE or an equivalent recognised board and is subject to the eligibility requirements of the chosen stream.

Direct admission to Classes X and XII is permitted only in transfer cases and is subject to CBSE regulations and document verification.
