The South Point School, Nagpur was established in the year 1994 by Shri Dinanath Dasture, a civil engineer by profession, under the aegis of the Desh Gaurav Social and Educational Society with the objective of providing high-quality education facilities to the citizens of southern Nagpur. It is an English medium co-educational day school affiliated with the Maharashtra Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education. It offers education from nursery to class X.

The school campus is located at Krida Chowk, Hanuman Nagar. It provides state-of-art-infrastructure including spacious classrooms, science and computer labs, library and playground.

Admission

Admission forms can be obtained from the school office. Date of birth of certificate (original and a Xerox vopy) and two passport size photograph of the students are required to be submitted at the time of admission. For admission to class 2 and above, a transfer certificate from the previous school needs to be submitted.

For admission into nursery children should be 2½yrs to 3½yrs; for KG-I 3½yrs to 4½yrs and KG-II 4½yrs to 5½yrs. No child below 5½yrs is admitted in Std. I. Corresponding scale of age is fixed for successive classes.

South Point School is the first school in South Nagpur to be awarded ISO 9001:2008 Quality Management Systems certification. Moreover the school has recorded 100 percent pass results in the class X SSC exam since inception.
