SPJSGM partners with Imarticus Learning to launch fintech training program

Leading edtech education platform Imarticus Learning has announced its partnership with S P Jain School of Global Management, world’s top-ranked B-school, to form Asia’s premier fintech training program. With this announcement, two of the country’s biggest fintech providers have joined hands to bring the first of its kind comprehensive fintech program that provides in-depth exposure through extensive case studies and interactions with industry leaders. 

This global fintech program with specialisations in blockchain, payments and lending supported by an immersion week in Singapore is an added feather to the cap for finance and data science professionals and allows them to hone their skills in the field.

According to a survey done by PWC it is estimated that by the end of 2020, the need for fintech professionals will increase by 42 percent. Additionally, Owing to the current scenario of COVID-19, where online education and edtech are taking precedence, virtual courses are the only way forward. This program has been developed keeping in mind the need of the hour, and aims to bridge the supply- demand gap and enhance individuals’ skills and proficiency within India’s financial industry through virtual learning. This programme is of particular relevance to Indian fintech professionals considering the recent blockchain policy developments in the country.

Talking about the partnership, Founder and Managing Director, Imarticus, Nikhil Barshikar adds, “This is a one-of-a-kind program that allows candidates to completely immerse themselves in the Fintech ecosystem across Asia with online delivery and an immersion week in Singapore to attend the Singapore Fintech Festival and campus visits at S P Jain Global.”

He further adds, “The course module includes introduction to BFSI and Fintech, Cloud Computing, AI, IOT, Blockchain, Big Data powered by organisations like PWC, Amazon, Blockchain Training Alliance and Consensys. To further facilitate the learning, S P Jain School of Global Management will also be providing mentoring sessions to help our students with the approach to these real-life projects.”
