Overview

Founded in 2007, Sree Vidyanikethan International School (SVIS), Tirupatiis a co-educational English medium residential school affiliated with the Central Board of Education (CBSE), New Delhi and is managed by Sree Vidyanikethan Educational Trust, the largest private institute in the Rayalaseema region, Tirupati, Andhra Pradesh. It was established in 1993 as a collaboration between the Government of India and the Government of Andhra Pradesh.

Campus

The school campus hosts smart classrooms equipped with color monitors, LCD projectors, latest software and internet facility, well-equipped computer labs, well-equipped Science laboratory, and well-stocked library.

Other facilities include activity rooms (art, music and dance), conference hall and a multipurpose hall.

Academics

Affiliated with the Central Board of Education (CBSE), New Delhi, the school offers classes from primary level through class XII. Academic session runs from June to April. The curriculum focuses on strong communication skills, activity and project-based teaching, environmental factors: learning to know, to do, to live together and to develop an appreciation for culture and heritage.

General Information

Admission

Admissions from class I to VIII are based on personal interaction with candidates’ parents/guardians and observation of the candidates by teachers. Students seeking admission to classes IX and above are required to write a written test.

Age criteria:

Nursery: 2 plus years

PP-I: 3 plus years PP-II: 4 plus years Class I: 5 plus years

Class II: 6 plus years Admission test is followed by an interview and admission takes place on a first-come-first-serve basis only as per the availability of the seats.

Following documents are required at the time of admission –

1. Attested copy of the Birth Certificate.

2. Copies of the candidate’s school reports and transcripts for the current year and/or completed year (in English).

3. 3 passport-size color photographs of the candidate.

4. Transfer Certificate (T.C.)
