Founded in 1930 by an English missionary Helen Jerwood, St. Thomas School, Delhi is a school for girls with campuses in Karol Bagh and Mandir Marg localities of New Delhi. It is run by the Diocese of Delhi, Church of North India, and recognized by the Department of Education, Delhi.
Affiliated with the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), New Delhi, the school offers education to girls from Nursery through class XII. The school makes a conscious attempt to move away from the chalk-and-talk method of teaching, and uses contemporary methods of teaching to ensure holistic learning.
St. Thomas School, Delhi houses a well-equipped library with over 20,000 books, 40 periodicals, and many newspapers and magazines. The school also offers fully furnished science labs, maths labs, home science labs, art room and three computer labs. Other facilities include an auditorium equipped with the latest sound and lighting systems and capable of seating 1000 people, a five-bed infirmary with a qualified nurse, an open air stage and a summer hall in Mussoorie called Prospect Lodge.
St. Thomas School, Delhi is affiliated with the CBSE board and offers education from Nursery through class XII. It follows the system of Continuous and Comprehensive Evaluation (CCE). Individual attention and guidance are provided to help students to put in their best. In the higher secondary classes, the school offers three streams – science, commerce and humanities.

Extracurricular
The sports curriculum of STS includes tennis, basketball, swimming, badminton, chess and relay race. The school encourages students to take part in various co-curricular activities such as music, dance, debate and drama. Students also participate in community-building workshops and activities.
St. Thomas School, Delhi admits students at nursery level. The minimum age for admission to nursery is 3 years. Admission to other classes is subject to availability of seats. Selected candidates need to submit the following documents:

St. Thomas School, Delhi students have won numerous accolades for the school including trophies and medals in the Delhi State Chess Championship, Nationals 25m Pistol Shooting Championship and Delhi State Taekwondo Championship.
Being a day school, St. Thomas School, Delhi does not offer accommodation facility.
