Viral video sparks social media frenzy

A video of a male student trying to sneak a girl out of the hostel premises of a college in a trolley suitcase has surfaced online starting a chain of hilarious tweets and memes for the same.

The video is a CCTV grab of the incident that allegedly took place at Manipal University and the incident took place a few days ago. #Manipal has been trending on several social media platforms ever since the video went viral.  

The CCTV footage shows a resident of the college drawing a trolley suitcase and walking out of the exit gate. Suspicious guards and a caretaker carry out a search, after which the girl is seen stepping out the suitcase. Social media posts have it that the caretaker grew suspicious as the student had not intimated him regarding vacating the room and yet carrying a huge suitcase.

Memes and GIFs with suitcases began trending on Twitter and Instagram only to be shared by hundreds of users drawing hilarious responses to the incident. However, Manipal University officials denied that CCTV footage was of their campus.
